Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

What is CPD?

Continuing Personal or Professional Development (CPD) is defined as:

'A commitment to structured skills enhancement and personal or professional competence'.

Regardless of industry or sector, most employees are now required to undertake some form of CPD. As we work predominantly in knowledge and service economies, the updating of skills and knowledge is critical in keeping abreast of industry changes, maintaining professional competence and ensuring that qualifications do not become obsolete.

Anyone who is a member of a professional body or institution is automatically expected to spend time on their CPD as a requirement of membership.

All courses provided by embrace-learning are certified with the CPD Certification Service.

Upon successfully completing the course and passing any associated assessments, the learner is able to print off their own certificate displaying the CPD Certified logo, as evidence of learning and CPD hours completed.
