Health and Social Care NVQs at level 2 and 3 have been replaced by the Level 2 and 3 Diplomas in Health and Social Care (HSC). Care workers who have already achieved NVQ qualifications have attained qualifications that are still valid and demonstrate their competency in Adult Social Care. The old NVQ's are still recognised as valid qualifications now that the new qualifications are in place, but NVQ training is no longer available for new registrants.
This Level 2 Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care online training course provides the basic knowledge needed to work with adults in the social care sector.
