Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care (Level 2 Certificate): e-learning training course

Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care (Level 2 Certificate) e-learning training course

Health and Social Care NVQs at level 2 and 3 have been replaced by the Level 2 and 3 Diplomas in Health and Social Care (HSC). Care workers who have already achieved NVQ qualifications have attained qualifications that are still valid and demonstrate their competency in Adult Social Care. The old NVQ's are still recognised as valid qualifications now that the new qualifications are in place, but NVQ training is no longer available for new registrants.

This Level 2 Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care online training course provides the basic knowledge needed to work with adults in the social care sector. It provides understanding of the role of the social care worker, safeguarding, communication, diversity, equality and inclusion, and personal development. This training course is an ideal training resource for anyone taking an adult Health and Social Care apprenticeship at Level 2.

This qualification is required by the ‘Quality Care Commission’ in England and is a recognised qualification for care workers and senior care workers in working in the health and social care sectors. The certificate issued on successful completion of this training course and it’s online assessment is evidence that learners have achieved the right skills to do their job well and care workers can be confident that this qualification is well respected within the health and social care sectors.

This e-learning training course is aimed at learners who are preparing to (or have recently started) working in the adult social care sector in England.
