Common Induction Standards
The six Common Induction Standards set out the basics that all care workers need to know for their role in providing care or support to individuals, both in residential and domiciliary settings. This course takes each standard in turn and outlines all the key learning points: it is an essential framework on which to build further training.

NHS Continuing Healthcare

Protection of Vulnerable Adults
The 'No Secrets' policy ('In Safe Hands' in Wales), lays down guidelines for multi-agency codes of practice to prevent and tackle abuse. It states: All agencies/organisations are required to ensure that all personnel have a base-line understanding of abuse and how it can be recognised.
